Hi Crafters!
Welcome to Seeds of Thoughtfulness with Lorin Goodchild, and this month's Crazy Crafters Blog Hop with special guest Holly Stene!
I immediately fell in love with Holly's creative way of taking one single stamp from the Foxy Friends stamp set and creating an elegant lattice/ quilt look background that is incredibly versatile. This was the Foxy Friends stamp set & stamp Holly used (photo credit: Holly's Hobbies blog):
Using Holly's background as my inspiration, this was my card creation:
I kept the card simple and relatively versatile so it can be used for a birthday, encouragement, or special occasion. The colour palette was Smokey Slate, Whisper White & Calypso Coral. I finished it off with silver thread & enamel dots to add a stylish element behind the sentiment.
This stamp set has been carried across into the new Stampin' Up! 2017-2018 Annual Catalogue, and I must admit I haven't actually played around with the stamp set until now. Boy am I glad I did as I love it! This set has a range of cute critters that can be used for baby/ children cards or even adult cards. And it can also look fabulous if used for wall or framed art pieces for your children's bedrooms!
