A CASE of Naturally Eclectic

Isn't the cover page of the new Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue simply stunning?!? I certainly thought so, and it was love at first sight for the new Naturally Eclectic suite.  With it's bright beautiful colours, and unique framelits shapes, it captivated me from get go.

One of the cards I really liked was on the catalogue cover, and I decided to CASE (Copy & Selectively Edit) this card today (card located to the right middle of the catalogue cover):

Here was my finished creation:

I opted to keep the colour palette identical, and changed only a few elements that I preferred.  The card base was Night of Navy, with Oh So Eclectic Designer Series Paper used as my background pattern.  The image at the front of the card was from the Naturally Eclectic stamp set, and I used the Eclectic Layers Thinlits Dies to obtain the diagonal white cutouts that I glued onto the top right corner to add a textured feature in whisper white.

The sentiment was from the same stamp set, however I opted to enhance this using the border from the stamp set "Label Me Pretty" and used the Pretty Label Punch to punch this out.  To complete the card I used 3/8" Mini Chevron Ribbon in Bermuda Bay, and metallic gold enamel dots.

The Naturally Eclectic Stamp Set and Eclectic Layers Thinlits offer such versatility in what you can create with it, the sky is the limit!
