Welcome Crafters!
With only two weeks to go until our NEW Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue 2018-2019 goes public, I am delighted to give you a sneak peek at a lovely new nautical suite of products which I'm sure you'll be delighted with!
Sneak Peek:
Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue 2018-2019
"Tranquil Textures"
The Tranquil Textures suite features a wonderful selection of products including the Sea of Textures stamp set with corresponding Under The Sea Framelits Dies, 12 x 12" Tranquil Textures Designer Series Paper, and Tranquil Textures Sprinkles. Whilst the octopus is definitely one of the main centre pieces in the stamp set, this suite really does enable creativity to take flight.
In each of the three cards I created using this suite of products, I wanted to showcase something unique, showing you that you can easily create an array of cards using individual items or bundle them together to create something truly spectacular!
Card #1 - Sea of Textures Stamp Set
For this card, I utilised only the Sea of Textures stamp set, using the various stamped images to speak for themselves. To portray a slightly layered look, I stamped off on the coral and plant stamped images first to get different shades.
Cardstock: Night of Navy, Cherry Cobbler, Whisper White
Classic Stampin' Pads: Night of Navy, Crumb Cake, Cherry Cobbler, Mossy Meadow
Card #2 - Tranquil Textures Designer Series Paper
The Tranquil Textures Designer Series Paper, sized 12 x 12", features an awesome range of eclectic and textural designs, perfect for backgrounds or layering. Some of you may recognise an old favourite ink colour that has made a return in the upcoming catalogue & this suite - Mint Macaron! And teamed with Night of Navy and Rich Razzleberry, this set really does impress!
Card #3 - The Whole Shabang!
As the card introduction suggests, this card utilised the Tranquil Textures DSP, the Under The Sea Framelits Dies, and the Sea of Textures Stamp Set. In hindsight I regretted not ordering the sprinkles as they would have added some lovely texture to the coral base, and I really think these would also be superb for shaker nautical themed cards using this suite too (stay tuned in the coming weeks as I may just give this a go!)
For this card I wanted to aim it at the more advanced stamper, and have tried to bring in daubering around the plant/ coral edges to add depth and interest without detracting from the patterned background paper.
I hope you have enjoyed these three creations, giving you a glimpse of possibilities this Tranquil Textures suite can open you up to. If you would like to order these products, they will be available to order from the 1st June 2018 by clicking the "Shop Now" button on the top left of this page.
If you are not a demonstrator, and would like to preorder a copy of the new catalogue when it is released on the 1st June 2018 please click HERE (please note this is only available to Australian Residents).
